You choose when you work and whether to deliver services in-person, via telehealth, or both. We are trauma-focused and all clinicians at Advocate Counseling and Consulting, PLLC see the importance in utilizing EMDR therapy as part of their practice with client, when appropriate.
As a contractor with Advocate Counseling and Consulting, PLLC, you would provide telehealth services and/or in-office services in the Knightdale and Wilson NC areas. We offer very competitive compensation, transparency, and complete agency over the days and hours you work. You will be supported with consultation for cases, EMDR therapy consultation with an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, clinical supervision for LCMHCAs, and practice-building skills should you have the goal of opening your own practice in the future. We have professional billing services, electronic medical record system, HIPAA compliant email, and monthly direct deposit. Clinicians interested in contracting with us should have:
Current active full North Carolina license in good standing as an LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD
Current active associate level North Carolina license in good standing
Experience treating adults, adolescents, and/or children
Established NPI and CAQH
Active malpractice insurance
Willingness to be credentialed with BCBS, United, Cigna, Aetna, and MedCost (credentialing based on current license)
Interest in trauma-informed care and EMDR therapy
Dedication to competent, inclusive, affirming care for all
